Referral disclaimer

This site is a free service to assist homeowners in connecting with local service contractors. All contractors are independent and this site does not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. All persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on this site.

Where the facts come from

Facts on these pages come from public sources linked where they appear, such as the Maryland Home Improvement Commission, the Maryland Insurance Administration, WSSC Water, Anne Arundel County, Prince George's County, EPA and CDC. None of them is connected with this site or endorses it. Rules and phone numbers change, so check the source when a decision depends on it.

Photographs

The photographs illustrate typical scenes. They do not show a real job, a real contractor or a particular address.
